Platform vs. Eyeballs

This is one of my favorite blogs from Seth Godin as he successfully articulates what we have been preaching. He does is in a way that really drives the point home and I guess that’s why he makes a lot of money writing books. Anyway, I think his description of a platform is primarily for the digital space, but I think there is an even stronger application to the experiential world.  For us it really ties back to the question of what would you rather have…? A million meaningless impressions or a thousand meaningful engagements with your consumer.  The notion of “Platform” and “Engaging with and audience” really ties to a live experience.  Enjoy the read.
